El Guapo has supplied Hispanic ingredients for over 30 years. These whole Pasilla Ancho chiles are dried red-brown Poblano peppers with a wrinkled, heart-like shape. They deliver mild to medium heat and a smoky-sweet flavour suited to moles, tamales, enchilada sauces and chilli.
The 7.5 oz bag contains whole dried chiles ready to rehydrate, toast or grind. Use them in traditional Mexican cooking or as a base for chile paste and sauces. Store in a cool, dry place.
