Saigon cinnamon sticks are a baking spice made from the inner bark of tropical cinnamon trees. McCormick Gourmet's version comes in 0.750 oz sticks, certified organic and non-GMO. The flavour is warm and distinctly aromatic, suited to both sweet and savoury cooking.
Use them whole in mulled wine, hot cider, curry, pho, rice pudding or oatmeal, or break them into smaller pieces for chai tea and spiced beverages. They work well poached with fruit or added to compotes and savoury broths. Packaged in a glass bottle for storage.
