Tecnu Poison Oak and Ivy Scrub is a 4-ounce topical wash designed to remove urushiol oil—the resin from poison oak and ivy plants—from the skin. Apply to affected areas for 15 seconds after rinsing with cool water. The scrub contains a gritty base that helps lift the oil away mechanically. Best used as soon as possible after exposure, before the rash develops. Keep a bottle on hand during hiking, camping or gardening season when contact with these plants is likely.
