Zinc oxide is the active ingredient in this CeraVe mineral sunscreen lotion, a physical UV filter that sits on the skin to reflect UVA and UVB rays. The formula includes ceramics and hyaluronic acid alongside the mineral base, and the sheer tint is designed to minimize the white cast typical of zinc oxide products.
This is an SPF 30 lotion for face use. Apply 15 minutes before sun exposure. Water-resistant for up to 80 minutes.
