Nestle Abuelita tablets are made with cinnamon, sugar and cocoa solids, ground to dissolve into milk. Heat milk in a saucepan, add one tablet, and whisk until it froths and comes to a boil. The traditional Mexican formula produces a thick, spiced hot chocolate with the characteristic texture Abuelita is known for.
Each 19 oz box contains multiple tablets. Store unused tablets in an airtight container in a cool, dry place to maintain freshness. This is the same hot chocolate served in Mexican households and cafés.
