Pearled farro cooks in about 30 minutes and works well in soups, salads, grain bowls and pilafs. The pearls are polished to remove the bran, which shortens cooking time compared to whole-grain varieties. Good & Gather's 16oz pack is kosher-certified and contains no added salt or preservatives.
Farro is an ancient wheat variety with a slightly chewy texture and mild, nutty flavour. Use it as you would barley or rice—as a base for warm dishes or a cool side salad.
