Cortland Line Company has been manufacturing fly-fishing line for over a century. The Fairplay Fly Line Reel Backing is a polyester backing designed to fill the arbor of any fly reel, increasing line capacity for longer casts and stronger runs.
This backing has a 20 lb test strength and comes in a 100-yard spool. The hi-vis yellow colour makes it easy to see where your backing ends and your fly line begins. It works with any standard fly reel and line combination, making it useful whether you fish for trout, salmon, steelhead, bass or saltwater species like redfish and tarpon.
