Alka-Seltzer Plus Severe Cold Medicine comes as effervescent tablets in a 24-count pack. Each dose dissolves in water. The formula contains phenylephrine HCl, acetaminophen, and dextromethorphan HBr, and is aspartame-free with reduced sodium compared to earlier versions.
The Original flavour tablets are individually wrapped for portability. Directions: dissolve 2 tablets in 4 oz water, stir well, and drink every 4 hours, not to exceed 6 doses in 24 hours. Do not use for more than 7 days unless directed by a doctor.
